I'm on day 2 of the prep diet.
I'm getting my body ready for weight loss. I guess that is the reason for this 3 day prep diet.
The sheet actually says: The purpose of this phase is to prepare your body for rapid weight loss. The three-day food plan is designed to stimulate a thermogenic response in your body and get it in the right chemical balance so that when your nutritional program begins you will lose your weight in the safetest, fastest and easiest way possible. A cleansing effect occurs by reducing starchy carbohydrates, sugars sodium and caffeine from your diet. Most clients see an immediate weight loss result during this phase as your body and it's systems begin to burn storage fat for fuel energy. You will start your indivdual Nutritional Plan on Day 4.
So basically, I eat 2 eggs, 1/2 orange for breakfast. Unlimited proteins, unlimited raw green vegetables, 1/2 orange for lunch. 80 oz of water per day (2 thermo boost count towards this) and 1/4- 1/2tsp Morton's Lite Salt. And then at night I have some Cleansing Tea.
I'm doing ok, although I'm pretty sick of raw vegetables. And the fact I can only have *green* ones.
After lunch today I actually thought I really wanted something sweet, and it was a pretty good craving. I went and read my sheet, to see what I could eat that was sweet, and saw that 1/2 an orange for lunch, and ran for it. Something sweet! HA HA! I normally don't like oranges. But oh-well! I ate it. :) It was sweet, and it worked.
I haven't got on the scale since I started......I was weighed on December 29th when I had my initial consultation. And I'm sure it went up a couple lbs since then, since I had a weekend of eating and drinking.
This morning, I think the cleansing tea was working really well, if you know what I mean! HA HA! I barely could bring Brandon to school.....I had alot of hot flashes, and pain, but now that is all gone. I hope I don't get that tomorrow too! What a pain that is.....
